What is it?

A natural soap bar! Beautifully handmade by the clever Bec Sampi from Garingbaar Native Bush Botanicals, and available for a limited time from Go-To in celebration of International Women’s Day 2022.

Founded and run by Wola/Gija woman, Bec Sampi, Garingbaar Native Bush Botanicals makes delightfully crafted bars of soap that you, and your skin, will love.

Handmade by Bec (and her team of hardworking helpers) in her Kununurra workshop, each soap is created with minimal skin-loving ingredients that are all natural, all excellent, and all sourced within Australia.

Loaded with lush coconut oil, along with the key botanical goolum (bush lavender) which is collected by hand on Country, skin will be left wonderfully soft and clean.

Our founder Zoë, met Bec while she was visiting the Purnululu National Park last year, (where Bec works as a guide). The two women bonded over their passion for creating skin care, and now their respective skin care companies have bonded with this soap. Nice!

100% of profits from this soap will go right back to Bec, her blossoming business, and as a traditional Wola/Gija woman, her extended family.

WHAT'S IN IT?

Coconut oil, goolum (bush lavender).

A Bit About Bec

Bec is a local Wola/Gija woman who was born and raised in the East Kimberley.

Purnululu National Park was her childhood playground, and it is where Bec learnt a wealth of cultural and geographical knowledge from her grandmothers who passed on their stories to her.

Knowledge that she generously now shares in her role as Head Guide for Kingfisher Tours, where she guides visitors through Purnululu, where you can find the breathtaking Bungle Bungle Range.

Tell Me More!

Garingbaar Native Bush Botanicals products contain local botanicals that have been used for centuries by Bec's ancestors for healing and self-care.

Bec is proud to be sharing the knowledge of her people with the greater Australian community and hopes you enjoy the experience of using Kimberley Native bush botanicals. (Spoiler: You will.) (And so will your skin.)
