One face mask to rule them all? Never! Not possible! However, we do think we’ve found a very customisable solution to treating each bump/blemish/wrinkle/rash in a more concentrated way. Enter: Multi-masking.
What is multi-masking?
Multi-masking is as uncomplicated as it sounds. It involves using multiple different masks on your face (see!), each applied to a different area for a different purpose (easy!). For example your skin might be lacking hydration in a particular area, and overcompensating with oil production in another, so this is a much clever-er way to target all your skin concerns in one very relaxing* sitting.

Tell me how to do it!
Before you lather on The Good Stuff willy-nilly, it’s important to understand your skin type and temperament; that way you can confidently decide which areas to target with each individual mask. Not quite sure where you sit on the beloved scale of oily to dry? Lucky for you we can help with that too!
If you’re experiencing excess oiliness, a common culprit of the t-zone (forehead, nose, and chin), applying an oil-pulling clay mask to the area will help to purify and detoxify. This selective approach to masking means you successfully avoid drying out the rest of your complexion in the process. Huzzah.
Clay masks can also be used as gentle spot treatments on those persistent pimples, you know the ones, so feel free to dab on any breakout zones to draw away hidden dirt and impurities that might be lurking beneath the surface.
Should you be looking to brighten and nourish other areas of the face, a repair mask will contain all the strengthening oils and vitamins necessary to get back that bounce. Feeling a lil’ dry under the nose? Wind whipped your cheeks? Stressing about signs of ageing across the forehead? This is your chance to deeply nourish and support the skin instead of stripping it. Big no, no.

How often should I multi-mask?
Multi-masking is not an everyday activity, as colourful and fun as it can be! As you would a regular mask, we encourage using this technique 1-2 times a week so the remainder of your skincare regime can really penetrate the skin and work its magic.
What should I do after a multi-mask?
Aside from basking in your beauty, you’re going to want to continue with your routine as usual. Serums, oils, moisturisers, SPF protection (every day). Need a reminder of the recommended order? We’ve got you covered.
Multi-masking is about understanding every area of your face, and being able to give your skin what it needs, when it needs it. Unlike your comfort oodie, skincare is not one-size-fits-all, so don’t be afraid to experiment.
