To start - perhaps like me you have been led to believe that for a retinol based product to be effective you need to experience: peeling, burning, redness, flaking, sensitivity. Like me, you would be wrong! This product goes on like a silky hydrating dream. IT DOES: improve the texture of your skin. My skin has absolutely no texture! Soft as a cloud. It also somehow hydrates 🤷🏽‍♀️. Can’t explain how. Suspect magic involved. IT DOES NOT: cause any of the awful side effects I have listed above. Somehow this serum manages to be both gentle and effective simultaneously. A skincare miracle. Thank you Go-To overlords!! You have outdone yourself with this one.

Really Rad Retinal

I have been sitting in the fence about retinal. My sensitive and occasionally dry / normal skin is pretty low fuss. I get the occasional outbreak (usually from poor sleep /diet). I have been using this for 3 weeks and it is lightweight, odourless and a cool bright yoke coloured skin treatment. My skin is more even and bright. It shines! It feels smooth and it will be staple in my arsenal of goodies for a long time coming. If you haven’t yet tried retinal and looking for your gateway drug into it, this is your key. Start low and slow, use the sandwich technique for application and this baby will have you glowing like never before. I did get some initial irritation, but a half pump every 2-4 days was enough for my skin.

That A+ looking skin you see in the morning? It needs SPF protection.

In the PM!

Post-cleanse, and on dry skin, apply 1-2 pumps to your whole face. Right down to the neck and chest. Allow the serum to absorb into the skin, before following on with additional serums (non-active, hydrating is ok!), face oils, and creams.

Do not use exfoliating acids on the same day (try Skin Cycling instead). And if you are new to retinal or new to our formula, we recommend starting very slow. Try incorporating this serum into your evening routine once or twice a week, before gradually building up tolerance for more frequent use.

We said whole face, but you be the judge. If you’re looking to target fine lines around the eye only, or find this delicate area is much more sensitive than other parts of your face, we have a dedicated eye product that should do the trick.

And remember! Always patch test before use.

Gentle but effective!
This was my first time using any retinal/ol product, and I was nervous of the potential purge or irritation, but I have used this every second night for a couple of weeks and had no irritation, but I have started to see a positive change to my skin texture. Highly recommend!

Reluctant at first, but now obsessed!
With HYPER sensitive skin, I was super reluctant to try this. But curiosity got the best of me, and I wanted to try and minimise the fine lines that keep on appearing. This product has been great, there is a visible difference, and I only had minimal purging for the first week. I have tried other retinols which burnt the crap out of my skin...so this was a welcome relief.
