That A+ looking skin you see in the morning? It needs SPF protection.

In the PM!

Post-cleanse, and on dry skin, apply 1-2 pumps to your whole face. Right down to the neck and chest. Allow the serum to absorb into the skin, before following on with additional serums (non-active, hydrating is ok!), face oils, and creams.

Do not use exfoliating acids on the same day (try Skin Cycling instead). And if you are new to retinal or new to our formula, we recommend starting very slow. Try incorporating this serum into your evening routine once or twice a week, before gradually building up tolerance for more frequent use.

We said whole face, but you be the judge. If you’re looking to target fine lines around the eye only, or find this delicate area is much more sensitive than other parts of your face, we have a dedicated eye product that should do the trick.

I want to like it more
The great thing about this product is that it is non-irritating and a gentle retinol, which is excellent for sensitive skin. Unfortunately, the orange colour has stained my pillowcase and sleepwear. While it initially washed out, the colour stopped washing out and I now have badly stained pillowcases and sleep top. This is even after waiting up to 2 hours between applying and sleeping. So it ended up being a costly purchase for me :( I've now changed to Inka Apothocary Bakuchioil, which has been a better product for me.

Hey Geri! Thanks for your review. Retinal in its purest and most potent form, without manipulation, is bright yellow, and there is a chance it may leave a bit of staining on your pillowcase or PJs. Unfortunately, this isn’t completely avoidable, and is also dependent on the skin’s ability to absorb product (and this will be different for everyone). If you’re having trouble removing any stains, a good pre-wash soak in napisan should help, followed by your normal wash cycle.

so gentle and effective
I decided to try this as an alternative to harsher products that cause dryness. And its been amazing. I need to keep using to see the benefits but its gentle enough for every second day use. I was worried it wasnt working so went overboard one night and my skin was peeling so it is strong and works. I love the orange tint as i can make sure its evenly spread and it does soak in well.
